The book was only made possible through the help of Joan’s friends: Mary Jane White, Paula Saintignon, Clara Muzechuk, and Monica Markey. I thank them and all others who helped with this project. Mary Jane was the main driving force behind the project, she organized the songs using Joan’s notebooks and tapes and with help from other friends who had sung many of the songs and knew them well. She, also, wrote out many of the songs so that they could be entered into the computer program. Paula, who is the Contemporary Choir director at Ascension parish here in Kettering Ohio, used her musical expertise to play most of the songs into the computer program using a MIDI compatible keyboard. Paula, also, supplied the chords for the songs and helped Mary Jane make sense out of all the information. Clara knew most of the songs and helped to get the project started and to get some of the songs into the computer program. Monica also knew most of the songs and she and Clara helped to check the songs after we printed them from the computer. Jan Whitehouse and Ed Eckley made additional contributions.
